이솝우화 해석.

쭉읽다가 마지막에 도무지 이해가 안가요.
Sure enough, the Mice soon began to come out. To the Cat it was almost as if he already had a plump young Mouse under his claws,when an old Rat, who had had much experience with Cats and traps, and had even lost a part of his tail to pay for it, sat up at a safe distance from a hole in the wall where he lived.
"Take care!" he cried. "That may be a heap of meal, but it looks to me very much like the Cat. Whatever it is, it is wisest to keep at a safe distance."

통통한 귀한마리를 발톱밑에 갖고 있는 고양이게게 뭔가를 하기로 결심한것 같은데..갑자기 고양이와 덫에 경험 많은 늙은쥐가 늙은 쉬가 나오고....그 발톱밑에 쥐를 구한건지...뭘한건지 모르겠어요. 뭘한건가요? 밑줄친 부분이 정확이 아리송해요.

여기서 mouse 는 생쥐 rat 은 하수구의 큰 쥐 입니다.

그전 해석에 살짝틀린부분때문에 나머지 해석이 힘들어 졌네요.

여기는 "고양이 한테는 토실토실한 쥐들이 이미 발톱아래 잡혀있는겄과 진배없었다. 라고 해석합니다. 그러면 나머지도 이해가기가 쉬워집니다. ^^

"That may be a heap of meal, but it looks to me very much like the Cat. Whatever it is, it is wisest to keep at a safe distance."

큰 고기덩어리 같지만 나한테는 고양이하고 똑같이 생겼다. 그게 뭐든간에 (고기덩이던 고양이던) 안전거리를 유지하는게 지혜롭겠지.

그전 해석에 살짝틀린부분때문에 나머지 해석이 힘들어 졌네요.

여기는 "고양이 한테는 토실토실한 쥐들이 이미 발톱아래 잡혀있는겄과 진배없었다. 라고 해석합니다. 그러면 나머지도 이해가기가 쉬워집니다. ^^

큰 고기덩어리 같지만 나한테는 고양이하고 똑같이 생겼다. 그게 뭐든간에 (고기덩이던 고양이던) 안전거리를 유지하는게 지혜롭겠지.
